Utorda beach lies to the north of the famous Majorda beach. The beach is palm-lined with a wide strip of white sands sloping gently into the Arabian sea. There are a few sand dunes on the beach.Utorda beach is located at a distance of about 10 kms. from Margao. Although Utorda is not as famous as it's neighbors, it is a great beach to swim and bathe and is pretty popular amongst tourists.
There are a fewer resorts at Utorda when compared to other nearby beaches. However one can find plenty of Resorts in Colva and Majorda that offer good accommodation to visitors. To reach the beach from Margao, one has to take the Colva road from Margao and then at the Colva circle turn right and move north.
