Cansaulim beach is a in actuality an extension of Velsao beach. The beach has clean white sands and lots of palm trees. It is located on the northernmost end of Velsao beach. The large stretches of white sands give the beach a deserted look. The beach lies at a distance of 10 kms. from Vasco city and 16 kms. from the city of Margao.
From the beach one can see the Zuari industrial estate towering up on a hill on the right side of the beach. This beach stretch comprising of the neighboring beaches Velsao, Arossim till Mobor is the second largest beach stretch in India. Cansaulim beach can be reached by bus from both, Vasco and Margao. There are plenty of options for accommodationand food close by at Majorda and Colva.
